Lettre à Nino (2) / A Letter to Nino (2)

Nino mio, mio amore,

Jacques

My Nino, my loved one,

Thanks so much for this postcard... Ah... The cloister of the San Domenico Hotel... So many happy memories, so much happiness and ectasy, between the nectar of Taormina's vineyard and the beauty of your smiles and of your gaze...

My Nino, of course I remember these photographs of you, when you where a a teen boy, when you where leaning against a column of the cloister... Is it a dream, a memory or a mirage ? Even San Domenico would fall in love with you ! My friend Wilhelm sent me those photographs, among the most beautiful, he said, he ever shot with you !

Nino, my dear friend, I miss you, when will we meet again ?

Everything is sad without you, I would like to be a cloud, a cloud to see you from above, from the Taormina 's sky...

I would like too to be a smoke from the Etna mountain and to see you from far away, to see you in Taormina...

I would like to be at the San Domenico Hotel forever, and to listen to your voice, to dive into your eyes...

Jacques
