Regard / Gaze
The photographic plate saved forever this deep gaze, uneasy or dumbfounded, questioning beyond the photographer a technology able to fix a face and a torso. This is a moment of metaphysical vertigo for a boy in front of his double and of a mirror, in front of a frozen time, as long as a pose lasts, a pose that acts on the model as well as on the negative plate where his shade is engraved.
